How do you say "cool" in Spanish?
I mean the slang version. Por ejemplo: "That's so cool!". I learned in Spanish class that it would be "genial" but I looked that word up here and it said that it meant "genuis". And so I looked up how to say "cool" (not on this dictionary, they use the literal sense here) and it said that in Latin America it would be "chido" and in Castilian it would be "guay". Esta me hace un poco confudida, ¿Qué debo usar? ¡Le doy gracias por su ayuda!

In Ecuador it's chévere.
¡Qué guay! ............. in Spain.
In México You say "Chido".
My friends in Mexico use the word "padre". My friends in Ecuador use the word "chévere". I like the word "chévere" a lot more than "padre". The Spanish radio station in town has a heavy Mexican influence. I hear the word "padre" used the same way English speakers use the word "cool".
I live in Mexico and I have also heard "Que padre" from my Mexican friends under the age of 40.
I was told to say "cobado" for "cool"!!!!
En España solemos decir que algo "Cool" es "Guay" o "Molón". El problema es que decir "Guay" dejó de ser "Cool" en los 90s X-D
When I was visiting relatives in Guatemala, some people also said "qué calidad."
In a video from Colombia I heard "bacano"
