I also suspect that you misspelled platias, but another possible word doesn't come to mind. (platicas) Also one of your que's may be qué.
Check the source of the sentence for possible misspellings or lack of punctuation.

¿Qué me dices...? What are you telling me? What are you saying?
Punctuation and spelling are critical which is why you see the warnings here so often about using proper punctuation and spelling.
