please translate: "I saw you standing there" into Spanish
I am trying to translate my song into Spanish.
Here are the lyrics:
I saw you standing there Yo vi tú You with your jet black hair My heart sang this love song We are finally where we belong Together, you and me Love and joy for eternity My Angel Rose Sing for me my love Dance with me Beneath the myriad stars above I love, yes I love you

Which is it? Te vi or a ti?

Amy welcomes all your suggestions.
One possible suggestion:
Te vi [a ti] parado allí.
Hi Amy, Welcome to the forum! Give a try translating it yourself first. If you don´t know very much Spanish, you could type it line by line into the translator on this site. (One line at a time will give you a much better translation).
Then compile all the lines and add them here. That way people can just correct problems with the translation.
Since you tried the first line, here´s how I would respond... "standing there" is actually a difficult idiom to translate into Spanish, so I would leave out standing:
Yo te vi tú allí
Someone who's better at translating might suggest a good way to add "standing".
Whoops...remove the Yo vi tu...that was me trying to get a decent translation
