What I would really like to know why we get so many post saying: Can you spell...meaning, how do you say or how do you translate. Interesting use of "spell"
Many people view other languages as their own language, for us it's usually English, in some kind of "secret code". In that understanding, changing the words back into English should make perfect sense.
And it's not a very long leap at all from there to the idea that a Spanish sentence is just an English sentence that is spelled differently.
We get very many questions here that make total sense when viewed in that light. ![]()

You have a beautiful name. It's pleasant to say.
The pronunciation would be the same in Spanish as in English.
Welcome to the Forum!
Sweety, you spell it Makaylah, because that is your name no matter where you go.
When Pedro moves to the United States, he doesn't become Peter. He remains what he was always called. It's the same with you.
However, if you really want a Spanish version of your name, it's Miguela.
Your last name, especially, doesn't translate into Spanish, OK?
And one last thing- please only ask each question in one thread. ![]()
