No soy un buen padre

Question

I really like this line from the Spanish TV show Aguila Roja: Gonzalo (Aguila Roja) is talking to his mentor (a priest) who just found him with a knife to his own stomach. Gonzalo lost his wife a few months back and his relationship with his young son is rocky.

Gonzalo: No soy un buen padre.

Sacerdote: Eres el mejor padre que tiene.

Profound. I think it has a really important lesson for all of us.

I like the show too. It helps with the listening skills, though when the conversations get too deep or too long, I usually get lost.
