difference between una/unas

Hello all!

When you say como una fresas it means I eat a strawberry right? But when you say (or can you say) como unas fresas what does that mean? I eat some strawberries? But then when do you use las fresas?

This seems to me to be very straightforward:

Como una fresa = I eat a strawberry

Como unas fresas = I eat some strawberries

Como las fresas = I eat the strawberries

Como estas fresas = I eat these strawberries

No me gusta las fresas = I don't like strawberries

HI neslita, welcome to the forumsmile

unas is normally translated as some, you are quite rightgrin

Como unas fresas. I eat some .....

Como una fresa. I eat one....

Como la fresa. I eat the strawberry. (possibly there is only one left)

como las fresas. I eat the strawberries.
