qfreed can you explain?

In one of your old postings explaining the verb gustar, you gave the following examples.

Why is that? Gustar can be conjugated just like any other verb? A ella le gusto yo. A Roberto le gustamos nosotros. A María le gustas tú. A nosotros nos gustas tú.

Are these the proper translations?

  1. I am pleasing to her. (She likes me.)
  2. We are pleasing to Roberto. (Roberto likes us.)
  3. You are pleasing to María. (María like you.)
  4. You are pleasing to us. (We like you.)

Thanks for the help.

I'm not qfreed, of course, but I think you've got it.

I'd also add that the subject pronouns are not really necessary in most circumstances:

  • A ella le gusto.
  • A Roberto le gustamos.
  • A María le gustas.
  • A nosotros nos gustas.
