If you are talking to the teacher and are referring to them as you then you would use usted. If you are talking about them as a he/her then it would be él if it were a male teacher and ella if it were a female teacher.

If it's a direct pronoun you're after, then "La," "Le," and "Te." IE: "It's nice to meet you." = "Mucho gusto en conocerla." (Formal to woman). "Mucho gusto en conocerle." (Formal to a man). "Mucho gusto en conocerte." (Familiar to either sex; probably not a teacher).
