I know nothing about how to use the translator. How do I put my document into a translator?

Here you can drag a "translate button" to your toolbar --------> Translate Buttons

If you look at the box for the Google translator you will see instructions that say that you can enter text, a webpage, a URL or there is a link to upload a document. If you don't want to cut and paste try uploading it. (Especially if it's too large for your clipboard)

Hello Bloomquist, Welcome to the forum.

The answer to you question is very simple. You simple highlight what you want to translate, "copy" what you have highlighted and then "paste" that into the translator. Copying and pasting you can do by right-clicking with your mouse.
