guiñar or parpadear ?

I am reading a book that has used 2 words for 'wink'. Guiñar and parpadear. I don't know which is more common. Can anyone help? I am guessing it is parpadear.

Hi and welcome to the forum. 
They are two completely different words:
Guiñar is to wink with one eye
Parpadear.is to blink
