how do i say "its finished" and " its scary " or its a scary man" ... thanks for your help

There are several ways to say "it's finished." Here are two.
"Es terminado" = It's ended "Es acabado" = It's finished
For "it's a scary man" I would use "él esta un hombre espantadizo." (The verb "espantar" means "to scare, fighten, scare away, cause fear".)
Maybe some native speakers can shed more light?

On second thought, the "scary man" should us "es"not "esta" if "scariness" is a permanent condition of the man. Sorry about that! - LaBurra, Dec 7, 2009
