$5 says he's asking for a Guild Name in an MMORPG. In that case his definition of guild is fine.

You misunderstand the traditional meaning of "guild". It does not refer to a group of "like-minded" enthusiasts. The closest modern English equivalent would be "union". Their function/purpose was to prevent unfettered competition (which would have meant less money for their services). Their primary method was to require long periods of "apprenticeship" during which time the "members" could benefit from the efforts of the "apprentices" (who, basically, worked for "slave wages").
They, of course, argued that the intent was to insure the "quality" of work (when provided by a "guild member"). The carryover of this system can be easily seen in the legal requirements to use a licensed electrician, plumber, physician, lawyer, etc.
I hope that you are asking for a translation. To help you to name a guild, I would think that we would have to know what they are a group of.
