You wouldn't need to include the subject pronoun "yo" unless you are either egotistical or trying to emphasize that the fact that "**YOU** speak Spanish" This is one of those subtleties of the language that can make a non-native speaker sound somewhat - Izanoni1, Dec 6, 2009
