grammar or vocabulary abbreviations in Spanish
Are there in Spanish such grammar or vocabulary abbreviations as in English (sth, sb, sw, ppl, sing, pl, pers, adj, adv, n, v, pron, prep)? I only know about Ud. and Uds.

These are just a few that I found in my dictionary:
cap. = capítolo
dls. = dólares
Dr. = doctor
etc. = etcétera
Ldo. = licenciado
p. ej. = por ejemplo
P.D. = posdataé
tit. = título
i.e. (id est) is used both in English and Spanish in the same way. E.g. (exempli gratia) in English is v.g. or v.gr. (verbigracia) in Spanish.
Etc. is the same in both too. Days of the week are abbreviated too: dom, lun, mart, miérc etc. (etcétera. hehe) oh and the months can be too: oct, nov etc.
Other useful ones: a/c ( a cargo de, like c/o care of) a.C. (antes de Cristo, before Christ, BC)
My Gran Diccionario Oxford lists at least as many for Spanish as for English. I am traveling at the moment and it is very heavy, so I have not packed it:|-) Unfortunately the dictionary websites, which also often show abbreviated entries for parts of speech, usage, etc, never seem to allow a link to a legend.
However, I notice that on the RAE site, you can "hover" over an abbreviation or acronym to see it spelled out.
