I need to know what the word 'baje' means in this sentence... No se baje del autobus aquí.

No se baje del autobus aquí = Do not get off the bus here.

As Nila says "baje" is from "bajar" (to go down, get down from, descend)

The "se baje" really means "one does not descend...." It is conjugated with the impersonal se.

"Baje" of the verb "bajar".

"yo bajé a la calle".- I went down the street.

"Baje (usted) primero".- Go down before me. (imperative)

"Baja (tú) primero".- Go down before me. (imperative)

Ojala yo baje a la calle.- I wish I went down the street. (subjunctive)
