Is it "taza" or "tasa" for the English word "rate"?
I am having a debate with a my tutor.....I think that it is "tasa".

Three dictionaries say you are right: it's "tasa."
"Taza" = cup "Tasa" = rate
Some people say "tasa" instead of "taza". They use the "s" instead of the "z". This is called "seseo".
Tal vez tu profesor es un analfbeto seseante.
Its taSa not taZa.
