En su disertación, titulada “La objeción de conciencia en el derecho internacional”, el doctor Javier Martínez Torrón, profesor de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Granada, España, indicó que la libertad de conciencia y el derecho a objetar a la aplicación de ciertas leyes u obligaciones por motivos de conciencia tienen reconocimiento internacional.

In his presentation “Conscientious Objection in International Law,” made by Dr. Javier Martínez Torrón, professor at the Granada University of Law, in Spain, he pointed out that freedom of conscience and the right to object to the application of some laws or obligations because of conscience is internationally recognized.
