Why does it appear that the sites top dogs just joined?

Just out of curiosity, why does it appear that some of the sites top people just recently joined? Looking at some of the profiles, one would think that some of them joined within the week, when we all know that is not the case!! Just wondering!!!!

Oh, ok.....I was pondering upon the same query. Some users who are one of the priveleged (and can not be named due to their superior intellect in Spanish and for security reasons) are shown to have less reputation than they actually have.

It's a glitch in the system since the upgrade in August.
