How to say we dated?

I need to know how to say we dated for 3 years. I'm not sure what the correct verb is . Thanks

That was a very good question! In Spanish they don't say "date" like we do in English. They would say that we went out, so the verb is salir.
You would say, "Salimos" for we dated.
