Help with preterite of estar and ser

I'm not understanding the difference between preterite forms of estar and ser. I know estar is used for emotions, opinions and where something or someone was. Ser is for wher an event took place. What s the difference!!!

El mes pasado (fue) dificil para mi eqipo. Nosotros (fuimos) de viaje muchos dias. Is this right? if not why?

To add to what Jason said, you will find the "conjugation" tab by first clicking on the "more" tab at the top of the page. Then just type in the verb.

¡Bienvendios?! y ¡Buena suerte!

Welcome to the forum kidd deish, I would definitely suggest using the conjugation feature on this site. It is a great one and definitely check out the lessons that Paralee has so graciously given to this site. Learning is so much more fun if it is done with effort. Post what you think is the correct answer(s) and then let us help you. smile
