lo vs. le with fascinar
Hello,
I've managed to completely confuse myself. I don't understand why one of these sentences has a 'lo' and the other has a 'le' and the third doesn't need either.
I feel like this verb functions similar to gustar/encantar/molestar but I'm just not grasping it.
A Juan lo fascina tu carro.
A Juan le fascina.
Tu carro fascina a Juan.
Can someone help me?

I believe that the first sentence should be A Juan le fascina tu carro. The third sentence could (maybe should?) have le as well.
You are right that fascinar works just like gustar. Its an indirect object construction:
Such-and-such is fascinating to someone.
