Here in the US it's a very common saying which means you do everything the person you're dating tells you to do. In other words, he/she has a whip (not literally) and he/she orders you around.

"I'm whipped" can mean a number of things in English. I think we have touched upon many of the meanings here. Good question bvizcaino!! Martinezanto, I hear what you are saying but remember, just because the definition you got was the most common don't think that it is the main one. It's all about context hauss!! smile

If you check the Urban Dictionary - the majority of the entries say that it means a man being dominated by a woman. I have also heard it mean being beaten at a game. He whipped me at cards.

I agree with all these definitions, but it also means "I give up, I can't figure it out." Example: "This camping game aloshek posted has got me whipped" wink Maybe "defeated".

Bvizcaino, welcome to the forum and please try to look at the forum rules when you get a chance to see about proper spelling and grammar. As for your question: It means "I'm tired". I hope this helps. smile

I'm whipped - Estoy rendido, me acuesto.

I'm whipped - Me rindo. Me has ganado.

I'm whipped - Me rindo. No lo consigo entender; es demasiado difícil.

I'm whipped - Me rindo. Sales con la tuya. No discuto más.

------En español también se usa formas de "rendirse o estar renido" en esos sentidos, ¿no?

I think the above definition would be related to a shortened form of a more common/vulgar expression usually regarding a man that would do anything his woman tells him to do.It may have expanded to include women since in this form the vulgar component is eliminated. If you want me to explicitly state the phrase you can PM me.
