Have you ever been doing something else, reflecting on something you may have said here, and suddenly realized that what you remember saying in this forum can't possibly be right? But not have a computadora nearby to see what you said? Ay!
There aren't very many experts here, and I'm certainly not one. But I sure hate giving bad advice and wrong answers! Don't you?
By the way- my memory was correct. I gave a really dumb answer!

You are worried? What about us mere mortals who have to worry we might offend, because we give a wrong answer or speak too idiomatically, as I am very prone to do. At least everyone knows you and they know that your heart is in the right place.
I think this is a picture of the wrong dunce corner. Ours has LOOOOTTSS more people in it!! jejeje. In fact I've been told there's a perpetual party there! 
Seriously, don't sweat it. Human beings make mistakes. And everyone here knows for sure that your intentions are always the best!
Hey, even prestigious newspapers and scientific journals have to print retractions from time to time - and those are just for the mistakes that are caught. I wouldn't worry about a single mistake too much. We're all fallible. At least you were honest enough to admit your mistake.
