What classifies as a lesson?

I guess what i want to know is how do i know if i am finished or even started a lesson. is the lesson the flash card and recall stuff or is it something else?

All of the pointers above are excellent. But don't overlook the "lessons" you can receive through the Questions and Answers.

Sometimes, though, they can be "the blind following the blind," but that's part of the fun. And sooner or later, an expert will come along to set us all straight!

Once you have completed the items listed above, you can move on to the next lesson.

Minor correction: You do not have to complete any part of the lesson to move on to the next lesson. The lessons do not have to be done in order, nor do you need to complete the one that you are on to go to the next one.

It's impossible to get that many without doing all the parts (except for the speak part).

Minor correction: Each lesson is worth 1000 pts. (except for a few). You may skip any part and still earn 750 pts. to get credit for the lesson. If you wished to skip the video then you could skip two parts and still earn 750 pts. (assuming that you did all of the flashcards 100% perfect). My point is that the sections of the lessons are independent of each other and need be done in no particular order.

It's the points. Once you have 750 points then you have finished the lesson. It's impossible to get that many without doing all the parts (except for the speak part).

Each video lesson is numbered (Lesson 1.1; 1.2, etc.). A complete lesson consists of the following things:

1. Watch the video
2. Practice the Flashcards
3. Recognize
4. Listen
5. Recall
6. Write
7. Write
8. Speak

*Once you have completed the items listed above, you can move on to the next lesson. However, you will be encouraged to check out the Reference articles related to that particular lesson.
