Vos vs Tu y Sos vs Eres

Hola a todas!!! I sort of know the difference here and I know that in Argentina they say vos and sos. When I go to Argentina in march, if I were to say eres and tu instead of vos and sos, would I still be understood or would it be like another form of another language which they would not be able to understand or would they understand and just think I was from some other country?????

I was told by someone in Buenos Aires that no one would blink an eye there if you used tú (tuteo) rather than vos (voseo). Both are readily understood. Of course, everyone will know that you are a foreigner (if that wouldn't already be apparent).
