I need a translation of the phrase "ya compre amor!" That's all I have - a one-line message received from an acquaintance.

Was there no accent? "Ya compre amor!" would mean "buy love now!" This word order would be unusual, though. It would be more commonly said "Compre amor ya!"

"Ya compré amor" would mean "I already bought love."

Would that mean he has visited a "lady of ill repute"? - 00515f39, Nov 17, 2009

I'd say its more like, "Buy it already love", as in "make up your mind and just do it"...

That would usually be "¡Cómpralo ya, (mi) amor!" - samdie, Nov 17, 2009
