su casa-his/her/its house or your (formal) house it is the third person tu casa-your(informal) house in spanish there are two registers formal and informal and it depends on to whom you are talking if you are talking to someone older you would use the "su" or third person singular and if you are talking to a friend or someone your age you would use the "tu" or second person singular hope this helps!

It does mean the same thing.

Both su and tu are possessive pronouns. Tu is the familiar form, and is a bit more friendly. Su is the polite form.

You might say su to your mother in law, and tu to your mother.

Usted es su casa = It is your house. Polite form. Es su casa = it is his/her house.

Tu = you (informal style) when there is ONE owned thing Su = you (formal style) when there is ONE owned thing OR his/her when there is owned thing.

Tus (see above) when there are at least TWO owned things. Sus (see above) you/his/her/THEIR when there are at least TWO owned things.
