Heard this in Cartagena Colombia, translated as local slang for "I'm broke." Later, heard it might be obscene. How "nasty" is it? (Seems useful with street vendors!)

I found this definition through a Google search. There doesn't seem to be any "off colour" connotation to it. It just seems to mean "flat broke" or close to it. Here is the definition page ----> mondao:
