Great! Thank you very much but what does De niño mean? From childhood? - Starcrafted, Nov 15, 2009
"De niño", when referring to the time when I was a child or little boy means during my childhood. - Mokay, Nov 15, 2009
Another uses of "De..": "De dia", during the daylight time, "De noche", during the night. - Mokay, Nov 15, 2009

You can say cuando era peqeuño for when I was a young or little boy. Cuando era adolesente = when I was a teenager. Cuando era joven = when I was young. As another sentence you could say. De pequeño siempre pasaba las vacaciones en Blackpool. When I was a boy I always spent my holidays in Blackpool.
