Me hace falta volar
My pilot friend sent me a text: "Me hace falta volar." I understand the meaning (I need to fly) but not the grammar. Can someone explain it please? Thanks.

"Me hace falta volar." Like Robertico said, s/he's expressing the need to fly in order to feel good or the fact that s/he hasn't been flying enough.
That being said, Me= to me Hace= verb hacer, to make or do Falta= it could be lack or miss. volar= to fly.
I miss flying
hope you have a wonderful day!
I think he means that he needs to fly to feel good. That's his life he needs to do it.
Me haces falta --- I need you
That kind of stuff.
