Que - That

Se - personal pronoun and reflexive pronoun

Sorry but this will be useless information without more context.

It has many uses, but you should study the above links.

¿Qué se cuenta? --- What do you say? (greeting)

¿Qué sé te perdió? --- What did you lose?

El que se levanta pierde la silla. --- He who gets up loses his chair. (his seat)

¿Qué se supo de tu hermano? --- What is known about your brother? (What have you heard about?)

Este es un sitio web en el que se estudia el Español. --- This it is a website in which Spanish is studied.

¿Qué se puede esperar de una persona así? --- What can you expect from a person like this?

I don't think anyone is going to try to answer this question for you unless you use it in a full sentence. What I mean is the it will be a different result depending on where it is used. The context will determine its meaning. For example, here are two cases from our dictionary wher the words "que se" appear:

tanto me lo pidió que se lo di -> he asked me for it so insistently that I gave it to him (here "que se" translates as "that")

Hay en eso algo más de lo que se presume -> There is in that affair more than what is imagined (here "que se" translates as "what").

Please try to find where you got the words "que se" and let us know at least the full sentence. Then, we will be better able to give you the answer you need.

I hope this is some help to you,

Best regards,

Moe.
