'Alojarse' or 'Quedarse'.

I'm doing another piece of coursework, in which I want write:
'Christmas means staying with family....'- I believe it could either be 'La navidad significa alojarse con la familia' or ' 'La navidad significa quedarse con la familia.'
Any suggestions/ ideas??

Alojarse is more for when you are staying in a hotel.
Quedarse or estar are better when you are talking about staying with your family.
Me voy a alojar en este hotel esta noche. --- I'm going to stay at this hotel tonight.
Me voy a quedar con la familia en las Navidades --- I'm going to stay with my family for Christmas.
Voy a estar con mi familia en la Navidades. --- I'm going to be with my family during Christmas.

I believe "alojarse" signifies more to lodge somewhere, ie hotel, Inn etc.
