Why isn't the 'h' silent?

In lesson 1-2 (food), it sounds to me like the 'h' is pronounced in 'huevos'. Is that correct?

I think you might be hearing a slight burst of air that is made when the "ue" in huevos is pronounced. When spoken quickly, it might almost sound like the "h" is not silent, but that is not the case.

I have not listen to those lessons, but the h in huevos should not have a sound.
