abs of steel?

I'm trying to translate "I have abs of steel". The best I can get is, "Tengo abdominales de acero." Is there a shorthand for abdominales? If so, is it "abs", like in english or something different?

nope, there is not a short form. Abdominales refers to the muscles, Abdomen refers to the whole belly.
