How would I write out this sentence.......'I jumped at the chance'? Is there a spanish equivalent??

As in....'I jumped at the chance of working for General Dynamics'.

I don't think there is an expression that uses 'jump' like English does. I would use the word 'enseguida'. The rest would have to do with what exactly is the 'chance'.

"Enseguida acepté la asignación."

"Enseguida aproveché el oferta."
