I am translating a flyer for a Tag Sale. It also says "remember, one person's trash is another person's treasure"

This won't really answer your specific question, but I thought I'd add that I've always been told "sale" or "On sale" is "en oferta"...
Also, I checked oferta
and there are some examples listed:
de oferta -> bargain, on offer
artículos de oferta -> sale goods, goods on offer
estar de oferta -> to be on offer
oferta especial -> special offer
