Writing a résumé (CV) in Spanish

Should abbreviations like BS and BA be avoided and the words spelled out?

Should school and company names be translated to Spanish?

My personal opinion is no. Degrees are universally recognized and the names of schools in their original language make you look more "international"

California Institute of Technology - > Instituto de Tecnología de California

What about things that aren't schools, but do have a translatable part, like

Jet Propulsion Laboratory -> Laboratorio de Propulsión a Reacción

Yes, Lorenzo, this is what I mean, You have to translate the translatable part. sometimes the name has a translation, for exampla Nueva York, then that should be used.
