Hi rooky, welcome to the forum![]()
Your attempt is quite close:
¿Qué anunció Apple hoy?
is better![]()
It seems to be a conflation of two sentences: ¿Qué hizo Apple hoy? "What did Apple do today?", or ¿Qué anunció Apple hoy? "What did Apple announce today?". Remember to put the tilde over the 'e' in "Qué" and also notice that usually in Spanish we would refer to a company in the singular, i.e "hizo" not "hicieron". Also, note "anunció" without the double n - there are very seldom double letters in Spanish. Hope this helps.
El español es flexible en cuánto a la orden de los términos de una oración.Spanish is flexible when forming a sentence. En español una oración se construye con varios términos. Primariamente, toda oración se compone de dos términos A sentences (in Spanish) is made up with various terms called terminos.Eevery sentence in Spanish is made up of two terms mainly, subject and predicate.
A lot of good discussion regarding Spanish grammar. But I am curious:
What did Apple announce today?
What is a término-in Spanish-? A termino is the parst of a sentence. Subject, predicate, predicate complements.
Termino es el nombre que se le da a las partes que forman una oracion, sujecto, predicado y el complemento de predicado.
You almos got an A. The problem is that you are thinking in English. In English a sentence is form just like you did, noun verb and complement. In Spanish, It will take a while to get used to thinking in Spanish when speaking in Spanish.
¿Qué anuncio Apple hoy?,
Ugh, I keep thinking in English.
Thanks Heidita.
