Nouns that are plural in one language but singular in the other

I recall reading somewhere that there are nouns in Spanish that are plural that are identical to nouns in English that are singular. I can't recall any examples though.

Could someone provide some examples, as well as possibly tell me what the technical name of the difference is so I can look up more later?

Here's one the other way around:

La gente is singular in Spanish but plural in English.
