I'm trying to ask when does the baseball championship begin?

Is that correct? Should I conjugate hacer or take it out completely?

This statement is not entirely correct. Similar to English, you would not conjugate two verbs within the same clause, and many times if the subject does not change from one clause to the next, it is often possible to use the infinitive in the subsequent clauses. (I hope that this wasn't too confusing).

For example:

More than one clause (Pay attention to querer and hablar)

Quiero hablar contigo porque me gusta charlar. [no change in subject] - I want to speak with you because I like to chat

Quiero que hables conmigo porque me gusta charlar. [change in subject] - I want you to speak with me because I like to chat

whenever u conjugate one verb its unnecessary to conjugate the second. Ex: Me voy a duchar en el baño. I go to take a shower in the bathroom.
