Or do you mean: Take off your clothes (strip) and then wax the floor?

When you say "strip the floor" do you mean to remove the wax with chemicals or to sandpaper it? "Lijar el piso" (see Mortimerfran's post) is to "sandpaper the floor" and something like "quitar la cera del piso" would be to remove the wax from the floor. As Mortimerfran's post indicated, "encerar el piso" is "to wax the floor".
