How do I get learning points for watching video?

Question

I realise that I keep zero learning points for watching, eventhough I finish watching the video from beginning to end. Is there anything I would need to click to get the points to be registered?

I could complete the lessons now without the watching video points as I can answer the questions on the flashcards, but I believe that in the future, it might be a lot harder that I would need the points from 'watching'

Any ideas?

Just be sure your are signed in and that you click the green 'Continue to Flashcard' button after you watch the video.

Thanks Nicole, and yes, I have signed in and have received points for all other sections apart from this. I have tried watching the same video again, and continue watching other videos, or went straight to flashcards... all sorts of things I can think of and it still is zero. It is a bit weird and I hope someone will be able to answer/help with this.

For some unknown reason, I have problems receiving points for certain things. For instance, when I vote for someone's post, I should receive one point, but I always receive zero. Once in a blue moon, I will receive a point or two for voting up someone's post, but that is the exception.

I have also had problems receiving points for watching the Learn Videos. What I have found is that if I watch the video and then immediately go to the flashcards or "recognize" portion, I do receive my one-hundred points. If I watch the video alone, I receive nothing.

I am not sure why this happens. I have tried different browsers and different computers. I have posted a thread about this awhile back, but I still don't have an answer. As for voting up people, it doesn't bother me if I don't receive the points. But for the lessons, at some point, it might be difficult to complete the lesson without those one-hundred points. So I do see your point. I know I have not helped you in any way. I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in this problem. I'm interested to see if anyone else has any new suggestions.

Oh, I tried the first and the second video of Lesson 1. I will keep trying. No one has similar problems though?

You say this is just for one particular video? Which one is it? I haven't had this problem, but maybe there is a problem with just that video, or a few others.

Are you registered and signed in? If I watch the entire video, I have received all the points.
