Using "the" in translated sentences?

Using "the" in translated sentences?

Another question, I know, but... should I be using the in translations or just ignore it because sometimes in spanish you just ignore the word but I dont know about "the". I've been using "the" in sentences like, "Trajo vino a la fiesta, (tell me if this looks way wrong)" la being the. May be a silly stupid question again. Thanks!

May be a silly stupid question again

In Spanish, the article is used a lot of times when it wouldn't normally be used in English. La in "...la fiesta" is correct.
