RUMINANT
an animal that chews the cud regurgitated (urgh) from its rumen.
RUMEN
the first stomach of a ruminant, in which food, especially cellulose,is partly digested by bacteria.
CUD
half digested food returned from the first stomach of ruminants to the mouth for further chewing.
