Best word for "Outsider"?

Which spanish word is the most correct to describe an outsider?
I`m thinking of a person which is a bit outside of the social circle - a different person, not fully accepted.
I can`t quite figure out which spanish word fits best in this sense: "Forastero", "Extraño" or another?

Extraño is strange
Extranjero is a foriegner/stranger
Mendigo is a begger
Forastero is usually used for something similar to a wanderer or wandering begger
