Here is some more intermediate level vocabulary. I’m hoping you’ll add some of your own to this list!
- El policía le sacó sus huellas digitales. (The police officer took his fingerprints)
- Estoy un poco deprimida hoy porque llueve mucho. (I’m a little depressed today because it’s raining)
- Mi cónyuge siempre quiere ver la televisión cuando descanso. (My spouse always wants to watch televisión when I’m resting)
- Este proyecto fue un gran fracaso. (This project was a big disaster)
- El viaje me trae muy ilusionado (I am so looking forward to the trip)
- Esta mañana hubo un embotellamiento muy grande en la autopista. (This morning there was a huge traffic jam on the highway).
- Gracias a los esfuerzos de los médicos, Pablo sobrevivó el accidente. (Thanks to the efforts of the doctors, Pablo survived the accident)
- Perdóname. Me equivoqué. (Forgive me. I was mistaken)
- ¡Oye! Tengo un sugerencia para ti – ¡no lo hagas! (Hey, I have a suggestion – don’t do it!)
- Rechazé su oferta de empleo. (I rejected his offer of employment)
