Yes, it would be great if everyone put some thought into which words needed to be capitlaized, etc. - Nicole-B, Oct 27, 2009
The word "What" for starters! :) Plus add a question mark too.... - cristalino, Oct 11, 2011

Places or things that are on a map are capitalized. Therefore - streets, counties, states, provinces, countries, rivers, etc are all capitalized. This why is nationalities are not capitalized. Example: Ella es mejicana; vive en Méjico"

So, appearing on a "map" is the only criterion? - cristalino, Oct 11, 2011

Also, remember that inglés and español are not capitalized in Spanish; however, the words Spanish and English are capitalized when writing in English.
