i had to write a 8 line skit with me and my partner. so we had to create the lines. he says we need at least one preterite and one stem changing verb. I not i, my partner and I

My partner and I had to write an eight line skit.We had to create the dialogue. He told us that in our sentence we needed one preterite and one stem change.

Dear nubhotz, please gives us the definition of a stem changing verb and preterite.

Thank you.

PS I meant to ask, What is your understanding of the preterite and "a stem changing verb" I am not asking for the book definition but your own. Thank you.

•Bienvenido al outback casa de la carne.Outback is a proper name,so it has to be capitalized. The rest of the sentence is fine.

•Le gustaria el area de fumar o no fumar. This is a question so it needs interrogation marks -see below this block for the questions signs(¿?)

el area the article el should be changed to la because area is female. the phrase fumar o no fumar sounds ackward.I would change it to , ¿desea fumar?

•Emos estado muy ocupados hoy va a ber Hemos not emos; ver not ber. I would change this sentence to

Estamos muy ocupados.Tenemos un retraso de treinta minutos.

Bienvenido al outback casa de la carne.

ok

Le gustaria el area de fumar o no fumar.

-> ¿Prefiere zona de fumadores o no fumadores?

Emos estado muy ocupados hoy va a ber un retraso de treinta minutos.

-> Hoy estamos muy ocupados. ("hemos estado" implies that that situation is over, you are still busy, arent you?, so you must say "estamos", we are)

-> Va a haber un retraso de treinta minutos. you can say: - va a haber (there is going to be) - habrá (there will be)
