I want to know, how can I download the SpanishDict lesson videos? I went to References and Spanish-Media. However, i was unable to download any lesson videos. (specifically lessons 4.1-4.15)

There are several websites where you can download the videos. Which is best probably depends on what type of player you are going to view them with (what file types you want-flv., swf, MP4, MP3, wma. etc.). If you look below the videos you will see the website Blip.TV.com mentioned. It's the one that I download them from when I want to burn them to a CD. It also provides you with embed coding if you wish to embed them on another website.

Go to iTunes if you need them in MP4 format.

Is it on a toolbar or is it an add-on program? - 0074b507, Oct 26, 2009
I'll have to ask my husband, but I think that the new version of mozilla has it on a toolbar - Issabela, Oct 26, 2009

You may have to become a member [free] before you can download the videos.

lesson 4.15 on Blip.tv.com

link to lesson 4.1 on blip.tv.com

Select download at bottom of page.

As Ian mentions the best method for download is to become a member and download to to a known player like Realplayer, but it's only a simplification. If the program knows what you are playing it on, it knows what type of file format to download. If you just download the file without it knowing what player you are using it either gives you a flv or swf file (I don't remember which) so you need to watch them with a Adobe flash player or convert the files. I've watched them on Windows Media Player after converting the Flash files to .wma, but the resolution isn't as good as playing the original files on a Flash player.

I have downloaded ALL Paralee's lessons.

You need to get Realplayer installed (it is free) and when Paralee starts talking right click on the video - you will see an option to "download to Realplayer"

You then open Realplayer and click on "My Library" where you will find what you have just downloaded. You can then "move" it to somewhere else on your hard drive. I hope this helps.

i tried blip.tv.com it couldnt open the page. I did bliptv.com and it opened to a GoDaddy.com site which didnt recognize spanishdict.com.

When i tried on iTunes, it says "Get Episode". I click on it, but it only downloads for a few seconds, then it has an exclamation mark pop up. It says the file may be corrupted or one that iTunes can not play.

HELP!!!

why did it work before but not now? I have a previous podcast from here, with episodes 1.1-4.4, but i want the rest!
