Learning Spanish without a computer
Open for suggestions on learning Spanish away from the computer. I work in a factory 10 to 12 hours a day and cannot always be at the computer. I have an mp3 player, but can't always use it at work. Thanks to all for there help.

I say flashcards are the way to go! Make up a bunch with vocabulary and flip through them throughout the day. Also, make some flashcard with full sentences on them so that you can learn grammar along with new vocabulary.
I just posted what I do during the week on this thread called Vocabulary Practice.
Another good thing to take to work would be the Spanish newspaper. If you don't have one on hand, why not print the news online from a newspaper? Here's a link to online Mexican newspapers.
Note down the grammar rules Paralee tells you about, then note down the words. After that, just memorize them when you have time. I memorized one "lesson" at the time and practiced using the flashcards (typing the correct words) everyday.
So if you do get spare time to use a computer, practise spelling the words.
Try an English-Spanish Dicitionary.
what's your current level of spanish?
